My journey at AMAL Academy

Before I started I just gave you a little introduction of Amal Academy. A Stanford University and PepsiCo supported 3-month online program to develop professional skills needed for a successful career and life.

Benjee William wanted to do something for others and after a lot of thinking, planning, implementation and turns, he has finally formed this program out of which a number of graduates get excellent professional skills which help them make outstanding careers. Amal was founded by Benjee Williams, and Kunal Chawla after completing their MBA at Stanford University and has been under consistent refinement since its inception.

The lesson that I want to share today after my 3 months in Amal Academy, is to learn “ don’t feel nervous and always stay positive even in a worse situation and try to explore new thing, focus and polish your skills which you have”

Public speaking is my biggest fear because I don’t know how to speak in front of a large pool of people. When I join amal academy I don’t know how to speak but I tried my best. My 1st friend at amal is areeba. She helps me a lot she is the only one who is texting me and said I am also very nervous when I talk to people.

So I started working on it. kainat my accountability partner also helps me a lot and told me to see some videos on how to overcome this fear. The most beautiful part of my life is Nimra. In my first session, I just keep quiet and listened to everyone and I tell during the session that I don’t know how to speak. Nimra send me a voice note and told me you are gonna rock I listen to your beautiful voice and she strengths me to overcome my fear. As the session passed and gradually I got better even I received the award for better performance.

And now I am very confident to speak in the large pool of people and represent my thoughts without any nervousness.

And I am very thankful to all my Amal family who support me. Mam Ayesha and sir Anas help me overcome my fear. They did a great job. In one and one session mam Ayesha told me that you work on your fear she motivates me and tell me we all are here to learn new things and you are wrong don’t need to worry. I just want to say mam you are very special for me.
